Cosy Ambassador Program

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

All of the materials we use both at home and those which arrive at your door are designed to fit around the reduce-reuse-recycle model.
Let’s break this down (pun intended) for our packaging, which is most important for our customers as the end user.
Cardboard boxes: 100% recyclable.
Packing tape: water activated, 100% recyclable.
Tissue paper: FSC-certified paper, 100% compostable, recyclable, and made from recycled materials.
Hex wrap: 100% recyclable.
Bubble wrap: all re-used from product arriving to C&F (we don’t buy any bubble wrap) + recyclable through the Australian REDcycle program.
Mailing satchels: recyclable through the Australian REDcycle program.

Member of the Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation

APCO is a not-for-profit organisation leading the development of a circular economy for packaging in Australia. Their vision is a packaging value chain that collaborates to keep packaging materials out of landfill and retains the maximum value of the materials, energy and labour within the local economy. As an APCO member, we have the resources we need to support our goals of improving the sustainability of our business and our packaging. This has also given us the ability to become a member of the Australian REDcycle program, which specialises in recycling soft plastics.

Member of the Australian REDcycle program

RED Group is a Melbourne-based resource recovery organisation, formed in 2010. RED Group developed and implemented the REDcycle Program: a recycling initiative for post-consumer soft plastic via a network of supermarket drop off points or 'REDcycle bins' (now located at over 1900 Coles and Woolworths stores nationwide). REDcycle presently recovers over 3 million pieces of soft plastic every single day from around Australia. They have also recovered and diverted from landfill over 14351 tonnes of soft plastic since 2011 (seriously amazing!)

Carbon offsetting through Greenfleet

We know that as well as generating carbon emissions from our daily operations, sending our products to your doorstep means we’re contributing to additional emissions through transport. We offset this through Greenfleet, which plants native biodiverse forests in Australia and New Zealand to restore critical ecosystems and capture carbon emissions.
