Villains: We never wanted the hero anyway.

For the reader who read the villain's backstory once and has been making excuses for him ever since. Enemies to lovers is the best trope. Full stop. Rivals, reluctant respect, and the grey area where we're most comfortable. Enemies to Lovers, Rivals to Romance and Emerald Green on dust jackets, book sleeves, e-reader sleeves and crossbodies, with a Morally Grey notebook from our side. Moral compass not included. Never was.
