Our padded book sleeves are convenient to tuck into your bag or backpack, offering peace of mind knowing that your book is protected wherever you go.

This book sleeve features a stunning Rivals to Romance pattern, designed for Charlie & Fox by Carmen Di Mauro.

Pattern placement on the fabric will vary between individual units.

Sizing info

Small – perfect for your mass market paperbacks, and your regular trade paperbacks and smaller hardcovers up to 8.5” / 21.5cm in height. If your book is particularly thick, we recommend sizing up to the large.

Large – our most popular size, and are perfect for your larger trade paperbacks and hardcovers up to 9.5” / 24cm in height. Can also be used for regular iPads.

Extra large – for your THICK larger paperbacks and hardcovers up to 9.5” / 24cm in height. If the number of pages in your book scares you and the book itself could double as a weapon, then chances are it’s best suited to the XL size. Can also be used for your iPad pro (it will be snug, and you may not fit a case with the pen attached to the side). This is the size we recommend for your Kindle Scribe too :)

How to use

Tuck your book inside the padded sleeve and close securely with the magnetic snaps, before taking your book out into the world with you.

FAQs

What size do I need?

If you're not sure where to start, the large size is our recommendation as this is our most popular size, and will fit quite a lot of your books. If you read mostly smaller paperbacks, quite often you'll fit two of these in our large book sleeve, and if you'd like a more snug fit for just one book, size down to the small. And for your super thick books (we're talking Priory of the Orange Tree [Samantha Shannon], Kingdom of Ash [Sarah J. Maas], Empire of the Vampire [Jay Kristoff]), definitely upsize to the extra-large!

Can I use these for my iPad?

You sure can!

For regular iPads, we recommend the large size. And for the iPad pro, we recommend the extra-large size - only caveat here is that if you have a cover on your iPad pro, it may be *just* too tight to fit with the pen attached to the size of your case. Similarly, if your case is bulky, it will likely also be too tight.

Looking for iPad mini? Go for our tall e-reader sleeve for a snug fit, or our small book sleeve for a more roomy fit.

Are they waterproof?

While the cotton exterior fabric and padding will absorb small amounts of moisture, we can't guarantee any protection of your books against water damage.

How do I clean my book sleeve?

Gentle cold wash by hand or machine (if using machine, place in garment bag), and lay flat to dry. Do not tumble-dry, as this can shrink your book sleeve.

Can I use these for my Kindle?

Our padded e-reader sleeves are made the same way as our book sleeves, and designed for smaller e-readers (like the Kindle Paperwhite). If you have the Kindle Scribe we recommend the extra large padded book sleeve. (You might *just* squeeze it into the large padded book sleeve, however we recommend the extra large to make sure you have enough room for it to fit comfortably, especially if have a protective case on your Scribe)

Pride of place

This cover now has pride of place protecting my Tablet... I never get tired of looking at it as it is simply divine... but then again, all the items I've purchased from Charlie and Fox are.

Life saver

My books were getting ruined because I take them with me daily, and this has saved them. So brilliant and so dang pretty! I’m in love with the swords. I also have a fourth wing one that I use for my iPad. I’m so grateful for these and for you for making them. I got my sister one too and she obsessed as well. Multipurpose!

I’ve been looking for weeks for a case that will fit my new iPad 13’ and could not find anything that was a snug fit and wouldn’t allow my iPad to move around. My TikTok for you page really said for you when I stumbled on a video from Charlie & Fox. I thought I’ll check it out. I asked them on Insta for help and they were quick and happy to help. Their customer service is so kind! This coincided with the romantasy collection which is my fave genre, of course. And bonus for the design and colours on this book sleeve.
